Open House – Sunday 15th October 2017
Open House in an annual event taking place in October. Its an extensive programme of talks, tours and exhibitions, it is the goal of Open House to highlight the buildings of Dublin that have altered our vision of the city over time, shaped how we live and inspire new ways of living in the future.
To commemorate the Dun Laoghaire Harbour Bicentenary two historic properties have been added to the Open House programme.
The East Pier Battery is partially open to the public in the Spring / Summer. The Harbour Lodge building is the head office for the Dun Laoghaire Harbour Company and is therefore closed to the public.
Both buildings will be open to the public on the 15th October as part of the Open House Programme.
East Pier Battery – Built in 1859 & Harbour Lodge, Crofton Road – Built in 1820.
