We are delighted to reschedule the Great Harbour Rocks talk to Thursday 30th November in the Ferry Terminal Building.
The lecture is by esteemed Heritage architect Grainne Shaffrey, to celebrate the Dun Laoghaire Harbour Bicentenary. Grainne and her practice have an extensive knowledge of the harbour having worked on the East Pier resurfacing and the restoration of the Victoria Monument.
Grainne’s lecture will describe the remarkable physical qualities of the Harbour in the context of its historic development and explore some of the very particular ways in which the Harbour continues to be a special place of cultural heritage.
